Cellophane adhesive is a protective coating that enhances the durability of packaged items and safeguards them against potential damage. It comes in various types such as matte, glossy, velvet, and patterned, depending on the specific needs of the printed product. Cellophane adhesion is a commonly used method for surface coverage of printed materials, where a thin layer of plastic is applied to the surface using specialized shrink wrapping machines.
One of the common techniques for Cellophane adhesion in printing houses is the cold method (water-based), where cold adhesive is poured into the corresponding reservoir. The Cellophane adhesive passes over a roller inside the reservoir, acquiring the adhesive, and is then stretched and applied onto the item.
Currently, Biosan Polymer not only manufactures various adhesives and resins but also produces quality shrink wrap adhesives for both automatic and manual machines. ( 301z & 302A)
